Kids Club, a group that includes a snack-type supper, fun activities and Bible lessons.
Men's Chorus- for all men of all age who enjoy singing.
Meets on Wednesday evenings, 6-6:45 pm. We sing a varied repertoire. Come sing with us!
Ladies Chorus- For all the women who enjoy singing treble music.
We do three and four part treble harmony, utilizing a variety of musical styles. Open to one and all!
Chancel Choir- This is our mixed singing group.
We sing SATB music in a variety of styles from traditional, classical to gospel music. We have a lot
of fun singing praises to God and learning new music! This group is also open to one and all!
"Vision"- This is a small SATB ensemble.
This group works with very close harmonies in a small group setting. This is an auditioned group.
See our choir director if you would be interested in joining this group. It meets on Thursdays at 6 pm.
FUMC Band- This is a small group of instrumentalists,
who enjoy getting together to play and keep up their skills playing band instruments. It is open
to any and all who have had some experience playing an instrument. If you have thought about
picking that high school band instrument up again and seeing what you could do, this group is
for you! It meets on Thursday evenings at 7 pm.
There are many opportunities to be involved in music at First Methodist Church. We welcome you to
come and join us as we praise God and lead worship services in music. For more information on any of
these groups please contact our Music Director, Carol Henn, at chenn@cfl.rr.com.
