Patchwork Friends
Are a small dedicated group of 16 loyal workers. They serve God by serving others. Volunteers are welcome. They meet in Fellowship Hall on the 1st Wednesday of the month from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. They come together with threads of faithfulness, stitches filled with love, and the lining of God's grace to piece together quilts and crafts to be given as gifts, to share encouraging words and the greatest gift of all, Jesus Christ.
Patchwork Friends honors babies born to the families of church members, our homebound, those with cancer, and our terminally ill. They visit the nursing homes and hospitals. This includes people with special needs, and the extended families of church members. Patchwork Friends made and delivered 119 lap quilts last year and 50 bibs for nursing homes. First United Methodist Church Titusville is proud of our quilters and the service they provide. They continue to bless and minister by creating works of art and precious memories one stitch at a time.
