Thank you for considering First United Methodist Church Preschool. We hope the following information will be helpful as you make this important decision concerning your child's exposure to a larger world.

In operation since 1963, we are housed in the education building of First United Methodist Church at 213 S. Palm Avenue,  on the corner of Main Street and Palm Avenue. Our Facilities are maintained and insured through the church and our program is guided by the Church Preschool Committee. We are licensed by the State of Florida and Gold Seal Accredited by the Florida United Methodist Association of Preschools.

We enjoy a teacher and an aid in each classroom with no more than 15 children. Our teachers are our greatest resource and many of them have been with us for ten years or more. Each one has a special love for children; the majority has Early Childhood  or related degrees and/or Child Development Associate Equivalent certificates. We receive training on an ongoing basis throughout the year.

We are now offering pre kindergarten classes through the state and will have 18 children per class.

It is the mission of FUMC Preschool to provide a Christian learning environment for children ages 2 1/2 to 4 years where they may grow spiritually, mentally, emotionally, physically and socially.
